Complete list of all enemy types in Death Train with strategies for each.
Regular Zombies
BasicStandard enemies that follow the train. Low health but appear in large numbers.
Strategy:
Any unit can handle these. Focus on AoE for efficiency.
Muscle Zombies (Tanks)
EliteVery durable enemies that require high DPS or specialized towers like the Lightning Tower to kill.
Strategy:
Use high-damage units or Lightning Tower. Prioritize these targets.
Rock Throwers
RangedEnemies that can attack from a distance, damaging your units before they can close the gap.
Strategy:
Eliminate quickly to protect your units. Use long-range or fast units.
Boss Waves
BossEvery few waves (e.g., Wave 20), a boss or a large group of heavy units will appear.
Strategy:
Focus all firepower. May require multiple high-tier units or upgraded defenses.
Personal Chasers
SpecialSpecial zombies that spawn when you stay away from the train too long or halt for extended periods.
Strategy:
Target you specifically, not the train. Your train defenses are safe, focus on personal survival.
Enemy Scaling
As waves progress, enemies become stronger and more numerous. By Wave 28+, the number of zombies becomes overwhelming, requiring AoE units to survive.
- Early waves (1-10): Basic zombies, manageable with starter units
- Mid waves (11-20): Mix of regular and elite enemies, need upgraded units
- Late waves (21-28): Heavy elite presence, AoE units essential
- Endless mode (28+): Massive hordes, requires optimized AoE setup
